EnterpriseOne Oracle VM 9.1

I'm implementing JDE 9.1 using the VM templates as a trial to build & test some SOAP/REST integration calls. Finally got the core (DB, app, AIS, and web) servers running in an Oracle VM system. I can get to the db, OneWorld starts and I can get to the web html app, but I can't sign into JDE on the web server. All of the default accounts don't seem to work.

I've done some digging and it appears there are no passwords in the SY910.F98OWSEC table (if I'm reading this right the encypted passwords should be in the table).

Anyone know what one of the valid accounts is supposed to be for these VM's?

Enable the JDE user. We can either login to E1 as a different system user, which is already configured and enable JDE user in P98OWSEC. If such a user has not been configured, then we can modify the value in F98OWSEC directly using SQL command.

The sample query to be executed is given below.
SQL> update SY910.F98OWSEC SET SCEUSER=01 WHERE SCUSER='JDE';

SQL > commit;

Now try to login to E1 with JDE user or any user that has JDE as the proxy user.

Thanks for the reply. I'm familiar with Oracle DB, but I'm totally new to JDE, so I really appreciate the help.

The JDE user was already enabled:

select scuser, sceuser from SY910.F98OWSEC where scuser = 'JDE';

SCUSER SCEUSER

---------- -------
JDE 01
JDE 01
JDE 01
JDE 01
JDE 01
JDE 01

Here's the entire F98OWSEC table (had to put in a file to stay under the post limit): View attachment F98OWSEC.txt

It appears there are no passwords for any user in SCOWPWD or SCSECPWD (I'm assuming this is the system/db password to use and the first is the E1 password). On closer inspection these fields aren't null, they are 10 spaces. I feel like there's a step I'm missing here to set up user accounts, but I can't sign in to get to the P0092 application to set up users.

This is the sign in with details shown. Are the Environment and Role fields correct?

JDE sign in.jpg

This is the error I get with any user from the F98OWSEC table and most passwords. However, if I use JDE/JDE here I get ' An unknown JAS sign in error occurred. Please contact the System Administrator.'

Ok, it appears I have a valid user/pass combo when I get the JAS error.

Here's an example from the jde.log on the app server:

It appears the error may be the JDB9900810, but then the debug has this 'Exiting JDB_InitUser with Success'.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Quick follow up. The JDB9900810 isn't the problem. I've cleared that by manually putting an entry in the F0111 table for the JDE user. Still getting the unknown JAS error on sign in.
