We use a series of Business Unit Category codes to represent our organizational hierarchy. We would like to have the ability to Effective Date these similar to what I've seen with PeopleSoft to future date organizaton changes.
Presently, the lack of ths functionality presents issues at annual budgeting time. We either have to budget next year with this year's hierarchy or change the current year's hierarchy to match next year's hierarchy to budget next year properly.
Has anyone else experienced this and been able to work around it?
