Gang,
I have been asked to contribute to a design standards document and have seen them be 3 paragraphs to 30 pages. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to do one of the following:
Would you be willing to share your design standards document (you can send it privately if you are willing to send at all) with me?
OR, what is your top 3 (or so) design standards 'must dos' when you are writing a new Application/Ube and/or when you are modifying and existing Application/Ube?
Has anyone had to change there standards document to accommodate different versions? I know one client where they had to avoid certain functions such as "Find String In String" in an application because it worked in Fat client but not in Web client (the Web client wasn't Windows?).
Anyway, would love to hear your feedback.
