Sorry Alex, didn't make it clear enough. They all use their correct respective OCMs. The problem is that we have many scheduled jobs running, some of which post in the current period, some in the previous (depending on userid/ocm). Users also have a special id to use the OCM to create batches for the previous period. The issue comes when they create a batch using the custom F0010 and before they can submit a post job, a regular scheduled job without the special user/ocm comes along and attempts to post the batch.
This is more an application flow/design issue at my site where our attempts to automate as much as possible are tripping us up. Hence a rethink of the design is needed.
