A user has asked if the following can be done in JDE. Because of our flexible scheduling, our goal is to have all raw materials in house 30 days prior to a work order completion date. We've tried putting queue hours in the router for this time. However, the queue hours are being added to the actual calculated flexible router time.
In other words, if the router calculates a work order will take 1 week, the inventory is now requested to come in house 37 days prior to launch. Obviously, adding extra weeks of inventory isn't our goal.
Is there any way to set a standard "indirect labor" router time so that the total number of hours is equal to a calculated amount (i.e., 30 days - calculated direct labor router time)?
