CSMS Service Contract - Billing Frequency Setup

Inorder to use the recurring billing function in CSMS Service Contracts I have to first setup the billing frequency code using the P15019. The problem I have is when I define the yearly frequency code (Y) I have to nominate a period. By nominating that period the workfile generation program (R1732) will only recognise that period for billing. Therefore I am restricted to one period in which I can generate invoices. The preferred solution is to have ability to generate workfile records in any period on a yearly basis.

Yes, I have seen this before. My solution was to use a Yearly Billing Frequency code per month, ie, you end up with 12 Yearly Billing Frequency Codes! The trick is to use codes that the Users can remember when entering the Contract. I did quite a bit of work on this last year. The results of my findings are available as a White Paper from my web site if you wish to download it. Alternatively I wil try and attach it to this thread as a guide for you.
