Country Codes 00/CN

Could someone please tell me what the purpose is of the special handling code in UDC 00/CN ? For EU reporting I have to add country codes, like EE for Estonia and don't know what the effect is of not filling in the special handling code.

Any info would much be appreciated.

Jan,
the special handling code on the country code is the ISO code for that country e.g. EE EST 233 are the three codes for Estonia (ref http://www.iso.org/iso/en/prods-services/iso3166ma/index.html)

I dont think that these are actually used elsewhere in the system - but I stand to be corrected on that !

Here in Brazil we use this UDC because has Regional Informations. And in the field
TX2 in the application P01012BR. Exist one Business Function very Important the
Name is B7602122.

Hello.

The Special handling codes are used to check certain data like TAX, TAX2, and Bank accounts.

if this code is not populated the system can't check the values of these fields
