In my company, employees are using number of standalone applications majorly developed in Microsoft Access and VB. As the applications are pure Windows form based application, they find advantage over JDE in fast typing, less number of clicks etc.
How can I merge the power of JDE and easiness of such applications together ? Using Power Forms ? Can you please give me some directions.

Not to mention no timeouts.

Our Oracle Validated product (LynX Business Integrator) includes a COM libray that lets you call our web services seamlessly from macro based environments like Access, Excel and Word. You can reference this library in VB. This allows you to create composite applications in Microsoft Office that harness the power of JDE's business rules.
