Capacity Planning

My client is on WorldSoftware A7.3 C 8,
I am facing a problem with generation of RCCP & CRP. Forecast is defined, MPS & MRP have been generated along with the messages successfully but the RCCP and CRP programs don't give any out put. I mean WorkCenter Load Graph doesn't show anything. Work Centers are perfectly set for the respective criticality.
Has anyone faced similar problem? What am I required to check for this?

Have you Refreshed resource units (P3007G, Menu G3321) to generate the
hours availble for each work center.

In addition to Refreshing Resource Units, you need to be sure MRP has run for the horizon you wish to view. CRP displays in the time periods set up in the R3482/3483 processing options.

Re: Re: Capacity Planning

Hi...

Thanks for your reply. The program CRP uses is P3382. There is no
time or period selection in the processing options of P3382 (CRP &
RCCP). MRP has run eactly for the period for which DRP & MPS has
run. All these 3 programs are run successfully. When I run the CRP
or RCCP, it doesn't show any planned load for the given period
eventhough the forecast is set perfectly. It don't show anything
in work center load graph.

I tried to run CRP & RCCP after releasing some of the load by
processing the messages in MPs Detail Message Review. Previously
there was no work order active. Even after choosing the WO status
of '10' i.e. entered work order, and ensuring that this status
exists in supply/demand inclusion rules for CRP, P3382 didn't
consider the work order. Then I attched the parts list and routing
to those released WOs. After this the RCCP and CRP work center
load graph appeared. Is this the way should it work? Why the
system doesn't consider the planned load while showing the graph?
Should we require to release the load by processing the messages
of MPS everytime? Please advice as I am using this program for the
first time.

Something simple, but has someone removed Code 20 (Planned Load) from UDC 33/CR (or whatever UDC your processing options call for in P3313)?

Re: Re: Capacity Planning

I have checked this already it is very much there in 33/CR,
planned load 20. Thanks for your suggestion but the problem
persists...

Re: Re: Capacity Planning

The Problem has been resolved. There is a SAR 1996786 available to take care of this.
