BI Publisher Email Delivery Option

Hi List,

In P95620 - [Update Report definition - Bursting and delivery] form, i'm using the email delivery option and i have specified the external email address. when i submit the report to the server,pdf is generated but it is not delivered to the receipient mentioned in the email address. In P95630, the delivery status is '0' and Delivery Location is Blank.

Please share your idea on this.

Hello Narmatha,

1. Is this happening for one particular RD or for every RD, if so, please check whether E-Mailing server is configured in such a way that it is inline with XMLP Kernel Server. That is, are the CNC related setups in place?

2. Delivery Status is '0' - I am not sure whether this can happen, because it could be either blank/A/C/F/S.

If you could share the screenshot of P95620 Bursting, that would help a lot.

Thanks for your response.
Address Number and valid email id is not available for the receipient so it shows the delivery status as '0'.After adding the email id using P01012, the delivery status is updated as"S" but the email(pdf) is not delivered to the receipient.

Do we need to do any additional set up for this?
