We are running CemailServer v8.0 and have customers that use plus character email addressing ([email protected]). CemailServer fails to send the emails to SMTP server for delivery but creates log entry in the BTEmail Server.log as if it did. Bottomline said way back in 2021 that the solution was to turn off email notifications. That is not acceptable because then users lose all notifications (when they have a bad email address in E1 they do not get notified that the email did not get delivered).
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Are there any fixes, work around or solutions to this problem?
