Batch Header (F0011) in \"Error\" - how to find what the error is

The user showed me two voucher batches that are "in error".
(They'd already deleted the spool files for these batches.)

Looking at the voucher inquiry, this is sourced from the batch header.

Looking at the batch header, there is no CAUSE listed.
However, neither batch header has values for dollars/documents expected.

How can I find out what the error is?
Would it be "safe" to reset the batch header status, and expected docs/dollars, and resubmit these batches to post?

Please AND Thanks

Just reset the batch status only and rerun the posting.=C2=A0 The errors wi ll be listed in the printout.

John,

Thanks for the reply, I did stumble into that solution to retry the posting.

The REAL solution came when I reviewed the "Oh, I never look at THAT report"
that gets generated by the posting (the one that shows the arithmetic).

This listing zeroed in on the vouchers that didn't balance.

We corrected those and "tah-dah", it worked.

Thanks for your assistance.
