AR GL Date Change

Hi Guys,

I have an unapplied cash receipt and during the invoice match GL date was incorrectly put in future (12/31/2004). Now I want to change to GL Date to actual date. How can I do that. Batch is already posted and I want to open the batch again and change the GL date. Can I do that...?? Please advice.

Our experience is as follows: if the GL date is posted incorrectly, you
must reverse the document, post the reversal, and then re-enter the document
with the correct GL date (I've done this to myself.....) The GL date is one
of those things that can't be changed once the document is saved. If the
document is NOT posted, you can delete the document from the batch and
re-enter, but if it's already posted, you must reverse it and then re-enter
it.

Thank you for your comment. As per your advice and it worked fine. Actually the batch was posted before so i did void the batch and receipt opened up again. I created a new batch and posted it with correct GL dates. Thanx for your comment.
