AR accounts gets open for last year

Hi,
Iam working on issue where in JDE 9.00 the AR entries for last year 2012 gets open automatically for the month of december.
We could see the draft gets open at 4(Accepted) status and the Invoices are also shown as open.
Is there any other way out to resolve this issue. I dont want to do the SQL.
