Fellow JDEers:
I am experiencing some strangeness with an AS400 running E1 9.0 and 8.98.4.
Regardless of whether I have 'SecurityServer=' set to blank or my valid 'JDE1' security server, I am able to log into E1 on my WAS 7.0.0.11 web servers (which is not what I would expect).
If I bring the services down, then I cannot log into the web servers (which is what I would expect).
If I set my 'SecurityServer=' value to something invalid (like my name or the name of my dog, etc.) and bring the services up, I can log into E1 on my web servers.
Has anyone else seen this?
I have opened a call with Oracle Support but have not received a response yet.
Thanks,
James
P.S. I have not finished reviewing the logs yet.
E1 9.0, 8.98.42, WAS 7.0.0.11 (on intel), AS400 DB and ES v6r1m0
