Compatibility – OW and Citrix XP

Information on the JDEedwards’ knowledge garden states Metaframe XP Feature Release 1 is not supported and is known to have video problems with OneWorld. Has anyone implemented OW using MF XP with Feature Release 1 or 2? Any comments, pitfalls, or suggestions to offer? Thanks.

We have a problem right now with users saving Media Text Attachments. They do not seem to save sometimes. Seems to be isolated to a WTS user. And we have this configuration (but have not confirmed this is really our problem).

Currently using XP with Feature Release 1 and no problems noted.

Citrix changed their video update routines again with MF XP FR2, making them faster (supposedly). My guess is that the video problems would be different, if you had any at all.

If you install FR2, don't forget to install the new Citrix 6.30 client software to support the new video update scheme.
