calculating estimated freight

We are currently on ERP8 and we don't use the JDE shipping module. We are getting more calls on what is the estimated freight to ship this. Have any of you had to deal with this. Is there a particular website you may use or have you created your own. If it is a website are you able to get to it from JDE. Our entire process for this is manual and we need to find a better way.
