Does anyone know if and when Oracle (EnterpriseOne) will support DB2 UDB JDBC Type 4 drivers for WebSphere? They only say they currently support JDBC Type 2 drivers.

You're kidding right? IBM DB2 UDB increased support?
I think the sign on the door says Oracle and we'll see less support for DB2 UDB rather than more (and more support for Oracle).
I asked this question sometime ago and have since abandoned DB2 UDB for LUW. Too many issues and not enough support.
The type 2 driver is easy to support but requires the bloated Client install. A type 4 driver would be much slimmer but I don't see them moving in this direction. Technically you can use this driver now but you would need to do your own testing.
What platfrom is the database running on?
