Well I cannot write the complete difference between the two, but there are 450 new tables have been introduced in Enterprise One 8.9.
The development tool is not changed much but now it looks like VB development sceen.
Now The there is no OW Explorer only Solutions exlorer is there.
Menu creation has changed a bit. It has become moduler but lil complicated.
And there are lot many changes but not any major, archeteture is the same as before.. and note that the new tables which are introduced in the New versions are just add on tables with the original tables to increase the flexibility of the software.
Like in Sales Order table there used to be 3 frields for salesman attached to that order, but now in E1 the 2 new tables have been introduced for keeping multiple entry for salesman for an order like commission header and detail.
