Cycle Count Additions

We are trying to insert additional items into a cycle count that were not originally listed on the cycle count. When we try to add the items at the bottom of the cycle count entry screen we get the following error:" Program will not allow the addition of an item in a location that another item already exists in". Is there anyone else encountering this problem, if so how do you add the extra items to the cycle count?

I don't think there is a way to modify a cycle count once it's created. MY recommendation is to canel or close that cycle count and recreat with the items you want.

Re[2]: Cycle Count Additions

We can modify the cycle count but we just can't add an item to a location that
already has an existing item in it.

Re: Re[2]: Cycle Count Additions

Are you using Location Control? Also, check your location definitions (P4100) to see how MIXL (Mix Item/Lot) is set. You should be able to add items to the cycle count.
