We have E1, e8.12, TR 8.98.31, Windows Server 2003, Oracle 10g DB, OAS.
My objective is to install and test out the OAS upgrade from 10.1.3.1 to OAS 10.1.3.4. For this I am using a VMWare VM. I installed an instance of OAS 10.1.3.1 on the VM, registered it in Server Manager and can access E1 from the OAS instance on the VM. When I try to apply patch 7272722 (OAS 10.1.3.4) the OUI shows that the VM machine passes the prerequisites and then stops without reporting any error. VMWare says there is no issue on their end, Oracle won't look at it (expected) unless I get the same results on a non-VMWare machine.
Can anyone suggest what sort of issue this is or seen this behavior with the OUI? I am running the product I want to patch but I can't patch it?
