Creating tablespaces on the Oracle 11GR2 DB before running the Platform Pack

I went through the the Solution Id 1172382.1.
We are using Windows 2008 R2 as the Operating System and the Oracle DB as 11G R2.
This is a fresh Installation.Do we need to create the Tablespaces for all the schemas that we need to install prior to running the Platform Pack CDs?
As per the solution ID the created tablespaces need to be dropped after the platform pack CDs are run.Will this drop the created tablespaces created while running the Platform pack CD too?
Will creating the Temp Tablespace with 1GB before running the Platform pack CD be enough to avoid this issue?
