Needing a little iSeries CNC Config Assistance. Trying to get those pesky Import/Export IFS Shares to work properly.
We have the folders created, but I need a clean means to share the folders - so the users are not required to have an iSeries User/Password.
If I point the users to the physical share of the IFS:
\\ServerName\ROOT\DV900\import
\\ServerName\ROOT\DV900\export
- they are required to enter an iSeries user/password.
What instructions should I provide the CNC, to configure the DV900\Import (and Export) folder Share - an "not" compromise security for any other folders.
Ideally, I would like the share presented as:
\\ServerName\DV900\Import
\\ServerName\DV900\Export
and require no user/pass for *all authority.
