IPC1100008 - Resource not removed correctly

Anyone seen this one before? We are having UBE's error and this is the only info in the logs. When we restart jde services the problem goes away, but will come back in about 1 week. We have already increased the OS kerkel params to allow JDE to grab more resources as well as in the ini file.

IPC1100008 - Resource not removed correctly (idx=2). Removing resource now.

Hi Taysburgh,
Which tools release, application release and platform is your setup on? If its 8.97 then there is known issue with IPC values. The option would be to blank out or comment the IP values section in the JDE.INI file and restart the services. The JD Edwards system would itself take the IPC parameter values from the OS and allocate the necessary structures. Incase that does not work, try using the following command - ipcrm [-m shmid] [-q msgid] [-s semid] [-M shmkey] [-Q msgkey] [-S semkey].

Best Regards,

We are experiencing the same issue. We are on SP18 running on HP-UX. We too have already increased our parameters per JDE's suggestions and have also increased three parameters in Unix (semune, semmni and shmseg). This corrected the problem for a short time (a few months), but it has now reappeared. We are VERY anxious to get this resolved. If you learn anything new on this, please forward info on and I will do the same.
