Hi List,
we are migrating to a new iSeries server. We have restored everything from tape to the new server for testing. Everything seemed to be running fine until I ran a LINKBSFN. Now we are getting Web Exception Errors on the web when trying to run P986116, BV or trying to submit a job.

enterprise server logs show:

Did you change the System Name or is it different than the machine where you ran the backup? Is all software correctly installed?

System name is the same. This is a restore from a System Save on the Production server. Everything runs fine in the environment I did not do a LINKBSFN in (DV812). This error only occurs on the Web Client. The WEBDEV Clients running the local WEB are fine.

Hi, you have copied the E812SYS lib and Bin32 and spec folders from IFS to a new server. How are you testing this because I can see JPD812 in the log posted by you.

Have you created a separate OCM mapping for your user Id in JPD812 to run logic on the new server ? If this is the case check your server map OCM's as well.

Also try doing a porttest on the new server for the JPD812 environment

Let me repeat my second question from above: Is all software correctly installed? Furthermore: Did you GO LICPGM and display, making sure none show in error? Did you compare the list to the system you ran the SAVE 21? Did you run CHKPRDOPT? These are all necessary steps after a restore.
Did you check WRKRDBDIRE?
