Question about JAS on OAS

I am having an issue with JAS on OAS. All requests are being redirected to port 7777, even though we configured the JAS instance to run on a default port. I found a solution for this on the Knowledge Garden, that said to comment out Port 7777 in the httpd.conf file and then configuration in the mod_oc4j.xml file will be used. I can find and edit the httpd.conf file just fine, but I can't find the mod_oc4j.xml file anywhere on the system. Any ideas where I can find the file?

What I am looking for is the file in OAS that holds the information pertaining to which port JAS is installed on.

We are on Redhet 4.0, with OAS 10.1.2.X...

Thanks.....

I got a response from Oracle. Their document was WRONG! The file I was looking for was mod_oc4j.conf and it's in the same directory as the httpd.conf. On top of that, the port definitions aren't in this file, they are still held in the httpd.conf file...

Go figure...

Hi Matthew,

one question, are you using OAS in a clustered solution? I have an issue with the OAS currently. When I cluster four servers I can't see any OW menus after the login. Taking three servers out and leaving one server in resolves the situation.

I have the feeling the httpd.conf or mod_oc4j.conf are not correctly set up. Using the solution from the documentation is not working at all.

Thanks in advance.

Adrian
