Install of Tools 8.96_A1

We are looking for some feedback on tools 8.96_a1
Has anyone installed as yet. Are there any issues encountered

Hello Yalumba,

I haven't installed it, but my 7 years CNC JDE experience
tells me that it's not a good idea to install first
releases of any Tools or Service Pack.
First releases were always full of bugs and anomalies,
which get fixed after a couple of months.
So, if I were you, I would wait until 8.96C or 8.96D.

Yes, in a dev installation of 8.11 SP1. So far, no issues to report. Seems very clean compared to past "A1" releases.

I've had 8.96_A1 installed since May 1st. I've had no issues, and it has fixed several of the problems we were having. It is much more stable than 8.95.

What tools release did you come from prior to installing 8.96. What were your main issues that made you decide to move to the A1 release?
We are looking at waiting for the B1 release in a few weeks in order to review/test

Started with 8.95_B1, then F_1, then G_1, I_2, and then 8.96_A1. There were several issues we duplicated with the developers at Oracle and we needed the fixes to move forward. The fixes were in the different tools releases.

I noticed you were running V5R2. Do you run Vertex. We are trying to test 8.96_B2 and are having a lot of issues with what seems to be Vertex connections. I was wondering if you may have had the same issues. Oracle has not been able to resolve my issues.
