Hello Fellow CNC-ers
Quick question: I am looking for alternative/better/easier methods for converting World A7.3 tables directly into 8.11 table format. I know there is a migration conversion guide for E1 and I have used this for converting from Xe (coexistence thus mixed table format) for when I did an Xe to 810 upgrade-had to do table conversions in two steps per the JDE manual.
Are there any more efficient ways to accomplish this? Via a third party vendor software package?
I have a client who just wants to move over the data (like Address Book for instance) and I wonder if a TC might be overkill.
It is probably best and safest to identify the existing table conversion programs in JDE for tables needing converting-and write TCs (with JDE tool) for those that don't have existing conversions than using third party solution but I wanted to see what experience others have had just in case.
Even third party tools like MS Access or DTS in SQL Server qualify in my mind.
