OLE objects appear as grey areas

We use OLE-type attachments (.doc files) that used to work great. But since friday last week, everytime we want to open an OLE-attachment, we can only see a gray area where the OLE-object should be...

We don't know if it has anything to do with it, but we installed Visio on our Citrix servers last week (Visio 2002, we already had Office97 installed)

Did anyone experience something similar? And did they find a way to fix it?

Newly attached files work as designed, only the old ones are 'broken'

We have had this problem in the past and it has always been a connectivity problem with the deployment server(where the attachments are stored). See if you can map a drive to the deployment server.

Attaching the same file again works as well, but it seems it has trouble opening the attached files with an old link
