I'm working on B7 release. I initially did not have VC++. Later i installed VC++. I made the necessary changes in The Jde.Ini file. When you do a build, it give an output of 0 errors 0 warnings Build Failed.
any suggestions.

Hi Joel,
Did you applied the SP for VC?? Check the following ...
Is it a custom BSFN you are trying to build or a standard one.. if its custom try build with standard BSFN with Client/Server type?? Is this issue consistent across the setup or specific to a workstation? (I have assumed you submitted build from workstation not DS). Whats there in the Build logs and Jde.log of the build machine?

Hi Joel,
1) How did you install VC++?
With the same user profile you are using now?
Does the profile have Local Admin priviledges?
2) There are environment variables such as include, lib ... required for a local successful BSFN build. Are they present on your workstation?
PS Go to My Computer->Properties->Advanced Tab->Environment Variables
Warm regards,

For Xe, there are JDE.INI settings that contain the path to your C++ program folder. These are automatically setup during the OW Client install, if it finds VC++ installed. You could try reinstalling the package or try changing the ini yourself.
