Adding programs to one role only

HI,

can someone tell me how i can add a new program to one role on the menus? I know i can add the item to the menus and then use fine cut to take it out of other roles, but I have over 30 roles and its very time consuming to use fine cut.

Also, how do I do a query to see which role has what programs on their menus without going through fine cut?

If I understand what you're asking...

Go to the parent task that you want the new item under
Right click the task and choose "Insert new task"
Create the new task and click on "OK"

If this parent task is shared to many people, then you can control that new task from showing up using security. Create new security records to disable the new task for the people/roles that you don't want them to have it. Then create new security records for those you do want to have it.
