Hi, we are installing the planner ESU JD21516 these days. We installed it in Development DV7333 successfully, then as a internal rule, we promoted the ESU project to our next Environment PY7333, in our PY7333 testing, we noticed that all new menu items were not added, we figured out the root cause for this is because ESU installation procedure is now changed in Xe, previously, the menu change, file generation, etc are included in special instructions, but now, these are automaticaly done in the Other Merge part in ESU installation. So now, to successfully install in PY7333, besides promoting the project from DV7333, the Other Merge needs to happen.
The thing is, when we install the Other Merge in ESU installation P96470, we didn't turn off the Spec Merge checkbox. We thought the system will compare the object and knew they were already up to date so would not do the actual spec merge again. But R98700 ran over 20 hours and we had to cancel it. We then re-promoted the ESU project from DV7333 again, and started the ESU installation by turning off the Spec Merge. Everything worked fine but at last, when looking at Update Status, it shows Copy to System Completed with Error. Any one can help me to figure out why the error message came out and what it stands for?
