\"Zombie\" tracking
We had a "new" experience today with Zombies:
Everything was OK at about 10 AM this morning. At 10:45 calles started to come in that "JDE was slow". SAW was returning an error that it could not obtain disk onfirmation. Looking at the enterprise server (AIX RS6000) revealed that there were about 100 zombies! We couldn't even run the EndOneWorld script. It took serveral "kill -9" commands to get rid of them. Afer that, everything was cool upon restarting OneWorld.
My question is this: Has anyone run across a tool that can help track transactions/correlate logs between a database, enterprise, and JAS servers to help with troubleshooting an issue like we had above? It is a real pain to try to trace all of the pieces in a distributed server model.
