Hello List,
For purchased materials, my client assigns lot codes when an item is received
by using Lot Process Type 1 that automatically assigns lot codes using the
year, month, day, sequence number format (YYYYMMDDxxxx). In order to move an
item, it must have a label with the lot code.
Now the client wants to implement a four-step receipt routing process.
However, the receipt routing application doesn't assign the lot code until
the last step in the route.
Is there a way to persuade the system to assign the lot code during the first
or second step in the receipt route?
