BIZARRE R98403 Error

To all,

When I run the R98403 and set it to append, I experience a very strange error. No matter what table I try to copy, if 6638 or 6644 (for some tables) records fail (which they will, as they are duplicates, I am just trying to append new data to an existing table), the databas connection gets lost, and I have to click OK, which lets it continue from where it lost the database connection. I have no idea what is causing this.. Any ideas?

The System Configuration is AS/400 ES, V5R1, Integrated Netfinity DS.

did you make sure to have your CAE - setup with all service packs and dll's as recommended ?

Yes,

I have installed all the latest Client Access Express service packs. I have been looking into this issue, but I still haven't found anything.
