Text File Creation Using Database Output

Greetings and Salutations -

I have created a custom report which creates a text file in a shared folder on the network using Section Database Output. The report creates the file when run locally, but does not create the file when run on the server, either as a fat or thin client.

The AS400 has been set up to recognize the domain, and the network folder is a shared folder with no security.

Has anyone run into this problem before, or does anyone have any ideas? AS400/CNC is not my area of expertise.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to specify a UNC address local to the AS400 and have output created there? This would eliminate the possibility of domain/authentication issues being the cause.

I would do this to verify that the text file can be created *anywhere* when run on the ES.
