Xe and DRP

I am looking for anyone with knowledge of an Distribution Company that has implemented Xe along with DRP. My current client has 130K SKU's with 52 Distribution Centers. They average 10K to 12K Purchase Orders per week to meet a Customer fill rate of 95% at all of the DC's. They currently are using JDE 7.331 and a hodge-podge of legacy systems. They use a home-grown module that creates PO's based on a series of event rules. They want to upgrade to Xe but are not sure DRP will work for them. They are on AS/400 ORACLE shop now but are making up their minds if they want to switch to SUN w/UNIX. If anyone has experience implementing JDE DRP for any Distribution Company, please respond.
