Wildcard on Header/Detail

I've just amended a filter field on a Header/Detail form to allow wildcard (i.e. '*') entry so the user can see all the records they wish.

But the application seems to be ignoring my change and always searching on whatever value was passed into the field on entry to the screen. To further add to the confusion, if I create a brand new form with the same Business Views and fields it seems to work perfectly.

Has anybody else come across this?

Hello Tim,
I've seen this: does your APPL have multiple Versions? Are you testing your APPL from IV? If yes, you may try using a Menu item that executes your APPL (there's a bug in IV, calling the OLDEST version, see archives for details).

It is already on a menu. I did try adding a new version after reading your post, but unfortunately this is still ignoring the wild card.
