Websphere ND failover/redundancy

Has anyone been able to implement failover of stateful sessions using clusters in WAS 5 and ND at any E1 8.X level? Or is this something we have to wait for WAS 6 for? TIA!

Yes, I've already installed WAS ND 5 with EO8.9,8.10,8.11.
It's work fine. you can find good documentation on Oracle (www.peoplesoft.com) site.

Thanks for the response, we too have successfully implemented WAS ND 5, but cannot get the sessions to failover. Can verify that you are not only able to create clusters with E1, but also get E1 sessions to failover. If so, do you mind elaborating on how? Oracle documentation does not cover failover of stateful sessions. thanks again.

Forget the JDE ND doc. It's a good starting point but only go so far.

Try ordering the following book:

"IBM Websphere Application Server for Distributed Platform and z/OS"
ISBN 0-13-185587-5

It's a must have especially if you're running ND.
