We are using Xe SP24.0.2 and Websphere 6.1.
I am considering upgrade to Websphere V7 and SP24.2.
This upgrade will take much time for testing and will involve many areas and because of this I need show the technical benefits of WAS V7.
I know the advantages of SP24.2, but about WAS I just know that support for V6.1 ends in next september.
What others benefits of websphere V7 over websphere V6.1 could I list to reinforce this upgrade? ie, the enhancements for managing, security, logging, performance, etc, that could improve a OW installation.
I have two independents JAS servers and dns round robin as load balancer. I do not intend change this configuration right now.
