Does anybody know if it is possible within JDE's Warehouse Management module to assign a fixed location to a customer ?

The item(s) can be sold to a number of different customers, but for a major customer, it is preferred to have stock 'reserved' by putting it in a fixed location. The major customer has an area set aside in the warehouse for bulk packing, hence being able to replenish the fixed location(s) with stock would make it easier for the staff to prepare the orders and to 'see' in the Item Availability how much stock is on hand.

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

Adrian,
Here are two options. First, you can specify fixed
putaway locations for items and can specify your bulk
location as the primary putaway location. Second, if
you want to set aside a specific quantity for a
specific customer, you can create a unique item for
that customer that follows the same WO processes in
Mfg as the standard item. You can then putaway
specifically for that customer as it would be
recognized as a unique item.
