User\'s default Menu ID

What happened to the ability to change a user profiles default menu id? The field in User Profile Revisions has seemed to disappear on me!

Hey Jeremy - I was sad to see that go too. Assuming you are not on XE any longer, the ability to assign a menu/task view is now only available on the role profile. You'll have to go to the user's role in P0092 and do it there. If you find a way to do it at the user level, I'd love to hear it!

I don't see the option in the Role Revisions app either.

I am on E1 9.0 U2 TR 8.98.4.2.

Sorry - My brain isn't working today… You actually have to use menu design and filtering to make that work.

With menu filtering turned on on your fat client, find the menu that you want, apply the role, then filter out what you don't want them to see. What is left is their default task view. Don't forget to save it. It's not a pleasant way to do it but it gets it done.
