Hi All,

Current Client is on 8.93.something. I've heard that 8.93, though seemingly stable is quite a trip in memory lane (that it struggles with leaks and many other issues).

I need to pitch the argument for moving to 8.94.something, to the client - remember, there isn't a lot of knowledge in the old knowledge gungle to help us out.

If a few of you (not ALL of you) - can pipe up and share some reasons why we need to press forward, I'd be pleasantly appreciative!

This client - iSeries, 8.10 and tools 8.93.something.

ps - 998th post and climbin!

8.93_R1 works great with 8.10. No real need to leap to 8.94 (not sure that is what you want to hear). 8.94 has some major fixes for web, so if your client is using 8.10 web you might want to take a look at those to use as "ammo". Of course, 8.95 just came out last week with multi-threaded kernels. Lots of good info from OpenWorld if you have access to the presentations. good luck
