Hi lists:
When we enter sales order,sometimes we need the price contain tax and sometimes we needn't though the customer number is same.Any help are appreciate.

Is it based on specific items being taxed? Are you using Vertex?

Marsyang,
Set your inventory items that are taxable as 'y' in
the item and branch plant entry screens. Also set
your customers as taxable 'y' in the customer biling
instructions. You can also change the taxability of
the order line during order entry.

Thanks.But i have another question.
Which file and field contain the tax amount about the order in the system?When I enter the order ,how can i know the tax amount just now?

There is a field with the alias STAM that is captured on the detail lines
(the actual field name is SDSTAM)... and based on whether you have the tax
flag set to Y and what your tax rate area and item are... it will calculate
the tax for that particular line... let me know if you have any other

Marsyang,
The order tax amount can be viewed with the online
invoice. The tax is not stored (except with the order
line) until the AR invoice is created and posted to
the GL. It is then found (by the customer and AR
Invoice number) in F0018.
