Table conversion throttle for E8.10 upgrade

In the manual it talkes about the number of queues set in the jde.ini file on the enterprise server for running the table conversions on the enterprise server instead of the deployment server. Is this set in the [JDENET_KERNEL_DEF14] stanza? If so, what should the value of maxNumberOfProcesses and numberOfAutoStartProcesses be set to? Out of the box they are set to 1 and 0 respectively.

Patty,

The TC throttle is number of simultaneous jobs that can be launched in the job queue. This should not be more than the Max jobs value of your default queue, which will be QBATCH.

You can change / set this in the Job queues application (P986130). The plan normally sets this to 4(For NT platform) and that is why the TC throttle defaults to 4. You do not have to change anything in the Kernel definitions in the jde.ini

Thanks for your help. My enterprise server is an HP Unix box. I have the QBATCH set to 5 jobs.
