Simplify your installation of Oracle's JD Edwards World products by using our new web-based Software Protection Code and Install Key Generator. The new SPC Self-Service Generator can be used for new installs of the JD Edwards World Express product, and new system installs, upgrades or cumulative update installs of JD Edwards World products. It can also be used to update expiring SPC codes, reallocate users from one machine to another, or to generate an SPC code for a disaster recovery machine. JD Edwards World - Expiring SPC Codes or Reallocation of Users from one machine to another
Note: Entering or changing a JD Edwards World Software Protection Code (SPC) should be performed by a knowledgeable user, as entering this code incorrectly can lock users out of your environment(s). Analysts at the Global Support Center (GSC) are available to assist you with this process, if desired.
JD Edwards World SPCs and System 00 Install Keys are based on serial number, release of software, expiration date and number of licensed users. The expiration date is matched against the data dictionary item #CYR in your environment at signon. Entering an expiration year equal to or greater than the default value of #CYR will cause your system to incorrectly calculate your expiration date.
