smartfield & debugger

dear all, i notice that smartfield in the insert menu disabled most of the time. why? but in the attachment, the level break footer section the smartfield in insert is enabled.
why?

debugger. i fail to understand why the codes in application windows always showing not uptodate version. after i change some coding and come back to debug but the debugger is showing to me the old one. i close the session and reopen also the same. why? quite frustrated of the design.

Hi ekben,

1.) Smart fields are available on Tabular sections and Finacials report only (as far as I know).

2.) Debug Information does not get refreshed automatically, when you modify the object. To refresh Debug Info, right-click on the APPL/UBE in the tree on the left and select "ReBuild DIA".
Note: Debug Info is stored locally, so if you go to an other workstation to debug, then you have to build the Debug Info on that machine too.
