R47071 error: Prior End Balance Forward Invalid

Hi!
I'm still working on the importation of data into receiving advice edi table, I've been able with some Oracle document to find required fields, but I must proceed by trial in JDE to know which field must be filled...its long but I forward!

Now I'm stuck since few time on date problem... I get in my workcenter error when I'm running R47071 and I can't find how to resolve it:


Subject : Error: Prior End Balance Forward Invalid
CAUSE . . . . The date being edited is less than the beginning fiscal date
in the Company Constants file (F0010) for your company.
RESOLUTION. . Enter a date which is not less than the beginning fiscal date
for your company, or, if you are entering stand-alone journal
entry, enter a document type of '##'.

Does someone have an idea about how to resolve this problem? Is this a field that I'm missing? Is this about system configuration?

Please note that I'd try to fill DRQJ and TRDJ, and I remove it after because it has changed nothing....

Hi,



You'll need to either go into p0010 and open the GL period to the date of
the earliest period that you are posting GL date wise or temporarily change
your GL constants to allow PBCO posting.

Oh yes thank you, you're right. I see for the company I use, in the P0010, that year aren't setuped right...this is our testing environnement (PY), its why it is like that I suppose.

I check this with our financial power-user to be sure.

If you get just a PBCO error, that means you are in the correct year but wrong period.

The Bal Fwd issue indicates that you are in the wrong PERIOD and YEAR.
