Promoting Project

Hi,
I’ve created a project, by default the project is in status 11
I want to promote that project to 21

Please Give the procedure.

FYI :
*Button available on the OMW Toolbar for that project= Only Design Button
*User Role= PVC Administrator

Verion =8.12
ToolSet=8.97

While I agree in principle with the sentiments expressed by Adrian and Shakeel, it appears that you OMW configuration may not be correct. An E1 Consultant should know how to do this.

My advice: Read the manual(s) and research JDEList about OMW configuration. Check your OMW configuration is correct. The site you are working on may have changed the OMW configuration from the default. You will need to check with the site administrators.

Hi SIVA


Thats true when ever you create a project it will be created in default 11 status.

Now you ID should be in Developer's Role

Change this roles from the Project you created.

double Click the owners in the project
it will prompt a window.
Change the owner to 06( PVC adminstrator)

and than you can see the advanced Project tab.

Simly move the PRoject from 11 to 21 status.


Ask if some thing is not clear.

i.e,
1)In the owner’s list making me as a PVC administrator
2) Going to Advanced Project and Promoted the project to 21
