Problem with amount display on report

I am getting some funny results displaying money amounts on a report. The amount field is set up as right-justified, length 9, decimals 2 and edit code 'K'. Some amounts (seems to be those with 2 significant digits before the decimal place) are being shifted one space to the left and therefore are not lining up with all the other amounts.

Anyone come across this before or got any suggestions?
